The Belconnen Community Council (BCC) is a spirited and proactive voice of the residents and businesses of Belconnen. Established 1991, the BCC has continuously promoted the well-being and development of our community.
As a non-political, volunteer-driven organisation, we aim to be at the forefront of advocating for and nurturing our region, making it an even more attractive place to live, work, and enjoy life.

What We Do
- Representation and Advocacy: We actively voice community concerns and contribute to discussions on urban planning, infrastructure enhancements, transport, safety and environmental stewardship.
- Community Engagement: Through meetings, forums, and surveys, we facilitate active participation and keep the community informed and involved in local developments and issues.
- Support and Collaboration: We collaborate with local organisations and groups to promote and support community projects and events that bolster our collective identity and cultural vibrancy.
